Mission Call!

Hi friends. This is Anna's sister. I'll be posting some of the things that Anna writes home about, as well as pictures here on this blog while she is gone. The purpose of this blog is to let friends and family keep up-to-date on experiences that she is having, as well as keeping thoughts and pics in one place for her to use as a keepsake, and finally, and probably most important, so that I can use my persuasive skills to convince all of you to write her while she's gone. (A missionary needs a lot of loving and support after all).

About a month ago, Anna received her mission call. After waiting A LOOONG time to be able to finally put in her papers, she was very excited that it arrived so quickly. Unfortunately all her friends and family couldn't be there to see her open her call so we had to settle for some speaker phone communication difficulties, but in the end, we all heard that she will be going to Arcadia California and will be entering the Missionary Training Center on September 4th. 

We (I feel like it's fair for me to represent the family here) are so excited for Anna! She is a loving, compassionate, obedient, humble, service-oriented person and we know that she will be a blessing to the lives of many as she serves in Arcadia.
